Originally recorded in October 2013 during rehearsals for a one-time Halloween show at Cactus Club in Milwaukee, WI.

For the 10th Anniversary of our one time show, it has been remixed from the original 8-track recordings and remastered by Justin Perkins at Mystery Room Mastering.

In 2013, for our Halloween "treat" we gave away 40 hand numbered 7" for free at the show, but the "trick" was it was actually a thrift store record with the center labels spray painted black. Each record came with an individual download code printed on the back of the sleeve.

We told everyone the 7" was a split release between Milwaukee labels Beer City Records and Halo of Flies. Mike Beer (Beer City Records) provided the poly bags, and Cory Von Bohlen (Halo of Flies) hosted the digital downloads. Both labels sanctioned the release, and appreciated the joke, but neither has officially acknowledged it within either catalog.

At their Halloween show, the band was asked to play a friend's birthday party in December at Mosquito Inn, Racine WI.

Red & Black existed for just a few months and only played two shows.
